In today’s digital world, where technology permeates all aspects of our lives, cybersecurity is becoming not only a priority but an absolute necessity. Modern cyberattacks are increasingly sophisticated and difficult to detect.

Hackers continuously develop new techniques and tools that allow them to break security measures and steal valuable data. Therefore, understanding the principles of cybersecurity is crucial for anyone who uses digital technology, both at work and in personal life.

In response to this, we have prepared an e-learning course titled “Introduction to Cybersecurity” which is designed to provide comprehensive knowledge and skills necessary to protect against cyber threats.

Objectives

The goal of the training is to prepare participants to identify, respond to, and manage cyber threats, as well as interact safely with devices in both professional and personal environments.

The main objectives of the training are:

• Familiarising participants with cybersecurity issues
• Providing tools to defend against cyber threats
• Raising awareness of social engineering threats and email-based attacks
• Providing theoretical and practical foundations for further development in the field of cybersecurity

   • Techniques for creating and managing strong passwords
   • The use of password managers and the benefits of multi-factor authentication
2. Ransomware, Phishing, DDoS, and Social Engineering:
   • Characteristics and methods for identifying attacks
   • Defending against attacks and best practices
   • Phishing and social engineering attack simulations
3. End-to-End Security Techniques:
   • Principles of securing data throughout the information lifecycle
   • Encrypting data at rest and in transit
   • Secure data exchange between systems
4. Mitigation Measures for Identified Threats:
   • Risk assessment and appropriate mitigation measures
   • Securing networks and systems against known threats
   • Practical implementation of security measures
5. Incident Management Standards, Methodologies, and Frameworks:
   • Overview of incident management standards
   • Methodologies and frameworks for incident management
   • Exercises in incident response and management
6. Threats to Railway Systems:
   • Hacker attacks on railway traffic control systems
   • Threats related to communication systems
   • Ransomware and cyberattacks related to railway infrastructure
7. Guidelines for Safe Interaction with Personal and Professional Devices in Networks:
   • Principles for safely using devices in corporate and public networks
   • Secure configuration of devices for remote work
   • Protection of personal and professional data
